What you can do

Everything in one place — from discovery to draft

Find funding you may qualify for

Browse opportunities matched to your industry, location, business stage, and eligibility attributes. No generic lists — results reflect your profile.

Understand why a match appears

Each result shows the signals that influenced its score: geography, certifications, industry fit, and program type. No black box.

Save and compare opportunities

Shortlist programs you want to track. Set up saved searches with optional alerts when new matching opportunities are added.

Organize application workspaces

Create a workspace for each opportunity you decide to pursue. Track progress, upload relevant documents, and keep everything organized.

Draft stronger responses with AI assistance

Generate AI-assisted section drafts grounded in your business profile and uploaded documents. Review every draft before use — AI assistance, not submission.

Stay ahead of deadlines and updates

Receive alerts when saved opportunities update, deadlines approach, or new programs match your profile. Never lose track of an opportunity because timing slipped.

How it works

Three steps to your first match

  1. 1

    Build your business profile

Share your industry, location, business stage, employee count, and any diversity certifications. Profile details are how Cevanta determines which opportunities are likely relevant. Incomplete profiles still get results — adding more fields improves match quality.

  2. 2

    Review your best matches

Your personalized feed shows opportunities ordered by match score, with a plain-language explanation for each result. Opportunities include grants, SBA programs, CDFI capital, local incentives, and technical assistance programs from reviewed sources.

  3. 3

Save, upload, and draft when you're ready

Shortlist programs you want to pursue. Create a workspace for each one. Optionally upload business documents to enrich AI-assisted draft generation. Review every draft before submission — Cevanta helps you start, not finish.

Coverage

What kinds of funding are included

Cevanta currently tracks federal, state, local, and CDFI-aligned opportunities from reviewed sources. Not every program is listed — we prioritize quality and human review over volume.

Grants

Federal, state, and local grant programs for eligible small businesses and nonprofits

SBA Programs

Small Business Administration loans, technical assistance, and set-aside programs

CDFI Capital

Mission-driven lenders offering loans and investment to underserved businesses

Local Incentives

City and county economic development programs, façade grants, and corridor funds

Competitions & Challenges

Business plan competitions and innovation challenges with non-dilutive awards

Technical Assistance

Consulting, coaching, capacity-building, and training programs

Funding availability, amounts, and deadlines vary by program and change frequently. Always verify opportunity details directly with the funder. Cevanta does not guarantee eligibility or approval.

Documents & AI

How documents and AI assistance work

AI-assisted drafting is a tool to help you start, not a substitute for your judgment. Here is what you should know before uploading documents or generating drafts.

Document upload is optional

You do not need to upload documents to browse opportunities or create a workspace. Upload only when you are working on a specific application and want AI drafts grounded in your own materials.

Upload only what is relevant

Do not upload documents that contain sensitive personal or financial information unless they are directly needed for an application. Only the extracted text is used — stored documents are not shared externally.

Common sensitive patterns are redacted

Before document text is used in AI drafts, common sensitive patterns — including Social Security numbers, EINs, bank account numbers, and credit card numbers — are automatically redacted. The unredacted original is never stored or sent to AI systems.

AI drafts require your review

AI-generated application sections are a starting point. They may be inaccurate, incomplete, or not suited to the specific program requirements. Review every draft carefully and edit before submission. Cevanta AI drafts are not legal or financial advice.

AI does not submit applications on your behalf

Cevanta helps you organize and draft application content. You are responsible for reviewing, completing, and submitting all applications directly to the funder.

Private beta

What to expect during private beta

Cevanta is in a controlled private beta. Access is by invitation only. Here is what that means for you.

Access is by invitation

You need an invitation to create an account. Beta access is limited while we gather feedback and improve the platform.

Features may change

You may see evolving designs, new sections, or changes to how matching and drafting work. We will communicate meaningful changes.

Operator support is available

Beta users can reach out for help. Cevanta is not an automated self-serve product yet — our team supports onboarding.

Feedback is requested

If you find something unclear, broken, or missing, we want to know. Your feedback directly shapes what gets built next.

Funding is not guaranteed

Cevanta helps you find and organize applications. Whether you receive funding depends entirely on the program and funder — not Cevanta.

Who it is for

Built for small businesses and the institutions that support them

Small business owners

Founders seeking grants, incentives, CDFI loans, SBA programs, and other non-dilutive or mission-aligned funding. Especially useful for businesses that are time-constrained, first-time applicants, or navigating a fragmented funding landscape for the first time.

CDFIs, chambers, and economic development teams

Institutions that support SMB communities can deploy Cevanta as a branded portal for their constituents — providing a curated, relevant funding discovery experience without building data infrastructure from scratch.
